THE

Artist.

SILVASTONE is a prominent UK based artist and songwriter with extensive and varied experience in the music industry. Born in London to parents from Ghana and Sierra Leone, SILVASTONE combines his African heritage with European influences to create a unique afrofusion sound.

He is internationally renowned for his charismatic and energetic stage presence featuring on the line ups of various festivals and shows such as SXSW Music Festival and Glastonbury Festival. SILVASTONE has put on 3 successful headline shows in London, and recently released Afro-Reggae single, “Blessed”, from his 5th independently produced project “Moments of Gratitude”.

The hardworking creative has spent much of the last years promoting his independently releases, which have been very well received worldwide. Affirmation; the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2014 debut “Transitions” and his outstanding 2017 sophomore, “Levels “ , EPs. His music is heavily championed and often playlisted by DJs at BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, CapitalXtra, Kiss100FM, etc and on other radio networks worldwide. He is also regularly featured on popular curated Spotify, Apple, Tidal and Deezer editorial playlists.

SILVASTONE is a talented, self-taught producer. The hardworking creative runs his own professional recording studio, White Hut Studios in his home town, Croydon. Here, he has produced the works of Chaka Demus & Pliers, Mr Vegas, Mark Morrison, Rita Ora and Emmanual Jal to name a few. His first passion has taken him over the world making and composing music for artists across different genres from afrobeats and reggae to indie and soft pop. He produced the lead theme music for 2017 US No1 Box Office movie (Tyler Perry’s “Boo 2 – A Madea Halloween “) and the recent Netflix Original series, “The Chilling Adventures Of SABRINA” and recently returned from Nashville USA where he was writing and composing on some exciting movie and music projects.

In his captivating speaking engagements, SILVASTONE uses the uncertainties of his life journey and self-made career to offer inspiration and knowledge to the audience. He speaks of how he embraces the importance of perseverance, resilience, and confidence to follow his own path, trusting his heart and mind to overcome any barriers. He is passionate about young people and adults alike, understanding the power of being who they want to be and his aim in his speaking engagements is to equip the audience with the confidence, self-assurance, and conviction to truly be themselves.
